PTA

Heathfield House has an active and lively Parent Teacher Association that aims to bring families closer to the school through a range of different social activities. These events provide an opportunity to socialise with staff and other parents on an informal basis. The PTA’s aim is not to raise money, but rather to bring the school community together.

Highlights include the May Ball, Casino Royale, Hoe Down, the School Picnic, the Christmas Fair, coffee mornings, quiz nights, second hand uniform sales and school discos for the children.

PTA and parents don’t raise money for the school itself. The PTA also doesn’t get involved in school charity fundraising, as this is managed by the school’s own Charity Co-ordinator with various fund-raising initiatives taking place within the school day (e.g. Red Nose Day, skipathon etc).

The PTA is run by a Committee, comprising of Pauline Williamson and 8-10 parents.
